Samhain (pronounced sah-wen) is an ancient Celtic celebration signaling the end of harvest season and the beginning of the darker days of winter . . . a magical time when the veil between the living and the dead is thin enough to cross; when bonfires are lit and extra places are set in a gesture of hospitality for visiting spirits. Check out the blog to learn more about the origins of Samhain.
Samhain takes everything magical about a fall fragrance and combines it into one: bright and fruity notes of citrus, apple and cinnamon grounded by earthy pecan, cedar, and sandalwood - a perfect way to celebrate the harvest and prepare to snuggle in for the last few months of the year.
The witch hazel used in the base is 100% organic and wild harvested from the North Eastern United States according to to all National Organic Program and State Forestry Regulations. A no waste system is utilized, so all parts of the plant are fully used during production, with leftover plant material turned into mulch. The fragrance oil is infused with natural essential oils, including cinnamon leaf, cinnamon bark, patchouli, cedarwood, vetiver & sandalwood, and is phthalate free and California prop 65 safe with no carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive, organ, or acute toxins.
